Terms of service

By creating an account or using Glovian you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What we are

Glovian is a marketplace. We connect customers with independent businesses and take payment on their behalf. We do not provide the services, products, events or rentals ourselves — the business you buy from is responsible for what it sells.

Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• Accounts are free to create.

Business accounts

• You must be entitled to sell what you list, and your listings must be accurate.
• You set your own prices, availability, cancellation rules and refund rules, and must honour them.
• You must fulfil bookings and orders you accept, and deal with your customers fairly.
• You are responsible for your own taxes, licences and legal obligations.

Payments and fees

• Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
• Our service fee is shown before any payment is made and is listed on our fees page.
• Optional promotion plans are charged as shown at checkout. Where you choose automatic renewal, it continues until you stop it, which you can do at any time before the next charge.
• Payouts to businesses are handled by the payment provider, subject to their verification checks.

Cancellations and refunds

Each business sets its own cancellation and refund policy, which is shown before you pay. Refunds for a booking, order, ticket or viewing are decided by that business. If a business will not respond, contact us and we will try to help.

Acceptable use

• No illegal, fraudulent, harmful, hateful or misleading content.
• No selling prohibited or restricted goods and services.
• No harassing other users, spamming, or misusing messages, reviews or groups.
• No attempting to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these rules.

Content you upload

You keep ownership of the photos, clips, listings and reviews you upload. You give us permission to display them in the app and, for public business content, to promote them within the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of businesses or customers using the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may end or limit access where these terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, United States.
